March Degustabox

March Degustabox
Having said last month that February was the best box yet that I have received I think I may need to do some recalculation as this month's box blew me away! I think this has been the first box where food has been gobbled up faster than ever everything in this box got put to use instantly which in itself says it all. Plenty of deliciously, naughty Easter treats to swallow down with a refreshing drink.
Jordan's Strawberry & Blueberry Granola £3.69
By using only natural ingredients Jordan's light granola has 30% less fat than your standard granola's and is high in fibre - what is not to love? I have been eating this for my breakfast since received with a bit of Greek yogurt and I must admit it does taste a lot lighter and sweeter than what a lot of granola brands do. I also felt as though it fulfilled me too whereas some granola's I have tried in the past have left me feeling too full and a bit bloated. Well done Jordan you have a new fan!
Crabbie's Alcoholic Fruit's 2 x £1.50
I have received none/alcoholic drinks from Crabbie's numerous times before and some of their flavours sound incredible. Raspberry & rhubarb and black cherry both to me sound like dessert drinks. These would go down nicely after a big dinner adding a little bit of sweetness to your taste buds. I am definitely intrigued by these flavours!
Brioche Pasquier Baked Bread Bites - Bacon 2 x 50p
These are the new alternative snack to potato crisps. Made with real French bread, each 20g bag is under 90 calories and low in saturated fat. These sound like the perfect 'middle of the day' snack to pop into your handbags to keep you going throughout the day. I like how light these are in fat/calories so they do make a better alternative snack to a packet of crisps. I shall be popping these little treats into my bag for uni!
BBQUE Sauce £3.99
Quite expensive for barbecue sauce but these original Barbarian sauces are available in four unique flavours: grill & beechwood, the original, honey & mustard, chilli & horseradish, each with a special Bavarian touch. This is a delicacy which means it is a special type of sauce that can be ideally used for bbqs, marinades or dips. The packaging is stunning for what it is it definitely has that special look about it. I unfortunately don't like barbecue sauce but my brother really does so I shall update this with his opinion.
Kent's Kitchen Spicy Szechuan Noodles £1.75
I love noodles especially ones that are in pots and easy to make for on the go. These posh noodles are perfect for lunch on the go as all you do is add hot water! But that isn't the best part these noodles are low in fat and calories which makes them even more likable. I am most likely to demolish these on a dinner break one day so I shall let you know what they taste like - probably amazing!
Juiceburst 2 x £1.25
As you are all aware by now I am quite fussy when it comes to drinks I like to keep it simple with water or herbal teas but occasionally I do like healthy drinks. These really stood out to me okay they may not be as 'healthy' as some soft drinks out their but they do a couple of skinny drinks which essentially is brilliant for people who are wanting to cut down on fruit drinks. These flavours both sound delicious and refreshing so maybe an after gym drink to cool down with?
Natvia Sweetener £2.00
I've been really getting into drinking coffee lately as a little midnight energy booster when uni work gets on-top of me so that is the only time I tend to have sugar. I would much rather prefer to be drinking coffee and having sweetener instead of sugar mixed in I would feel a heck of a lot less guilty that's for sure. Natvia is a 100% naturally sourced alternative to artificial sweeteners and sugar, containing zero calories there is no guilt. These also come in little sachets which helps stop going overboard with sugar!
Sour Patch Kids Sour Sweets £1.00
I am not too fond of sour sweets personally I always end up pulling awkward faces and the sourness puts me off the taste. My brother will probably demolish these as he likes sour sweeties.

Bassetts Jelly Babies £1.48
Bassetts is a classic sweet brand that was around when I was growing up so these will bring back some memories! These claim to be 'ideal for sharing' but let's face it we all hate sharing sweets. I love Jelly Babies so these will be my 'pick me up' treat when I am in need of it.
Lindt Assorted Mini Eggs 2 x £2.00
It is getting very close to Easter now so supermarkets are stocked up on all of their eggs and my eyes are wondering everywhere on which to buy! Lindt is one of my favourite brands of chocolate so when I received these in my box I was very excited (+ had to hide them from my mam as she loves them). These are the perfect Easter treat! This delightfully smooth milk, white and dark chocolate assortments provides a moment of bliss with every bite. I also think these would be a good Easter egg hunt chocolate to hide from everyone to try and find!
Lindt Easter Story Book and Gold Bunny
These are NOT part of this month's Degustabox they were in fact an added bonus to a selection of bloggers who have worked with Degustbox for awhile which was very kind of them. I have never seen a edible Easter story book before especially by Lindt! I almost don't want to open it up because it is so cutely packaged. But of course I will be savoring both of these for Easter! Who knows I may even turn out to look like an Easter bunny with all of this delicious Lindt chocolate!

Overall I am really pleased with this month's Degustabox it is by far my favourite one as I have discovered lots of alternatives, new brands to try as well as an amazing amount of chocolate to tuck into over Easter, yum.
I would really recommend people who enjoy food and are wanting to try new brands out to give this box a try. Who doesn't love the element of surprise especially with food?! It is like Christmas every month. You always come across some amazing brands and try some yummy recipes too!

  1. Usually, when I see these boxes I'm a bit skeptical as I'm a bit of a fussy eater but this box has me heading over to their website to see if they have any left! The cider, granola ad chocolate all look incredible! Thanks for the discount code!
