Hair Care Routine | Moroccan Oil

Hair Care Routine | Moroccan Oil
I have a bit of a confession to make and that is I am just as much obsessed with hair care as I am with makeup. If someone asked me what my 5 island products would be I would have to include some hair care in the mix as I love to treat it especially on those rough days. The hair care brand Moroccan Oil is definitely a brand I would consider as a treat as it is more on the higher end of price tags. But is it worth it?

Moroccan Oil Repair Shampoo
Shampoo's are a bit of a chore for me as I only ever seem to purchase ones for dry, damage hair just to keep my hair in good condition. The repair shampoo is something I've never saw/used before and what I mean by this is the consistency is very heavy and thickening. It almost feels like you are applying too much product to your hair because of how thickening it feels. Firstly the smell is incredible and you can still smell it in your hair days later which is amazing and lets me know my hair still feels fresh. Did it repair my hair? I am not sure. I mean it definitely kept my hair in good condition and I didn't need to wash it after 2 days so it kept the grease at bay for days. It didn't really add anything extra to my hair that what the Aussie hair care range would do but I do love how I was able to go longer without washing it.

Moroccan Oil Repair Conditioner
Conditioners are something I enjoy using a lot more than shampoo as I am constantly swapping and changing them as you only really focus on the ends of your hair not your roots. The repair conditioner left the ends of my hair feeling and smelling healthy for days, like I had miraculously drank a gallon of water. Just like the shampoo the consistency is very thickening therefore I use a bit less than I would usually. This conditioner definitely left my hair feeling shiny, smooth and repaired. I was able to see the repair results more with the conditioner than the shampoo.

Moroccan Oil
I have purchased this product countless times as it is a holy grail for my summer hair care. This oil does wonders on the ends of my hair and always leaves it feeling super soft. I apply the tiniest amount and rub it into the ends of my hair after I have washed it. It smells incredible just like the rest of the range and once my hair is dry it looks amazingly healthy and shiny. This product lasts me for months so it is definitely a product worth the price.

Overall I think all of these products are well worth the money especially the oil because of how long lasting it is. They all left my hair feeling healthy, shiny and as a bonus I was able to go days without needing to wash my hair. I would repurchase the oil and conditioner again but, I don't think I would repurchase the shampoo because it didn't really bring anything that a drugstore shampoo would do.

  6. I swear by the Moroccan Oil Treatment and pretty much use it daily, but I haven't tried anything else from the brand. My hair needs all the nourishment it can get, so these products sound perfect for me. I'll definitely be picking up the conditioner, for sure!
