July Favourites

July Favourites
As I change my calendar to August I can't quite believe in 4 months time Christmas is upon us, let that sit with you for a moment. This month's favourites post is a bit more, well, miscellaneous compared to my standard beauty rambles. July was a busy month for me not only did I graduate but, I got the opportunity to try lots of new brands out which have sneakily made a rightful place in my favourites!

I graduated from university at the start of the month which was such an emotional day! Lots of tears, excitement and nerves all rolled into one day and one of my lovely friends was kind enough to get me this Kate Spade Rose Gold notebook as a present. I love this! It comes everywhere with me and always comes in handy for jotting down any blog post ideas, appointments on the go. I wore a nude off the shoulder dress for my graduation so I decided to paint my nails with this Barry M Coconut Polish which since then I have had on my nails. White is such a lovely colour on the nails especially with a little bit of a tan and this one dries so fast.

I have been trying out a lot of new products recently and one of which is the Makeup Revolution Corrector Palette which I reviewed here if you want to see an in-depth review. This palette has been amazing for covering dark circles, redness and highlighting my face, it is the perfect palette for correcting those problems! I have also been trying out some new makeup brushes which I was kindly sent. Furless Cosmetics Makeup Brushes are amazing and definitely good quality for applying makeup. I love this brush in-particular which is their buffing brush, it applies my foundation on so quickly and a lot nicer than my RT buffing brush does. A full review will be up soon!

In the world of fashion fluffy, pom-pom shoes are on trend at the moment which have definitely caught my eye. These pretty pastel pink flats are from Dorothy Perkins and I think they are the prettiest pair of shoes I own. However, they ruined my feet so they are not the most comfortable of shoes, probably best for a sitting down occasion. I just love them though despite this I think they are beautiful! Copper and rose gold are my go-to colours when I go home-ware shopping. These set of 3 copper tealight holders were from Primark for £3. I think they are lovely paired with bigger candles and are perfect for accessorizing in blog photos!

Other random things I have loved this month has been Pretty Little Liars, now I won't go on and on about it believe me I could. I started to watch PLL in June and now I am all caught up to date and hooked to it. I thought it would be very teen-like but it really isn't it's very creepy and has lots of twists! Another random favourite has been Thai Chilli, lemongrass & coriander Kettle Chips*. I didn't think I'd like these as I don't like coriander but because the chilli has such a strong flavour to it you couldn't taste it, they are definitely a tasty pack of crisps you could easily consume they are so addictive. I'd recommend following them on Facebook as I believe they are launching some more delicious flavours!

What has been your favourite of July??
