My 5 Top Netflix Shows

My 5 Top Netflix Shows
This has been an overdue blog post that has been sitting on my to-do list for weeks. One of my favourite things to do to unwind is to switch off any social media and relax with a hot drink and watch a good TV show on Netflix. Today I am finally sharing with you what Netflix shows I am currently watching and my favourites I could re-watch again and again.

Once Upon A Time | This is an American fairy-tale dramatic TV series that takes place in the fictional town of Storybrooke. Whose residents are characters from various fairy-tales transported to the 'real world' and robbed of their memories by a powerful witch curse. If you like mystery, fantasy, adventure and fairy-tale characters this is worth watching. I started watching this last summer and instantly got hooked (10 points if you got that fairy-tale pun!). A lot of stories behind the fairy-tale characters lifestyles and twists that you don't expect.

Pretty Little Liars | An American teen drama mystery-thriller TV series that is set in the small town of Rosewood. Following the lives of four girls Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader Alison. One year later they are reunited as they begin to receive anonymous messages from a mysterious person named 'A', who threatens to expose their deepest secrets. They soon begin to realise someone is trying to ruin their lives. This is a lot more darker and twisted than it sounds, there are a lot of scenes that had me on edge or jumping out of my seat. I really recommend this if you enjoy mystery, drama thrillers that frustrate you but also get you really thinking.

Making A Murderer | This is an American web TV series that explores the authentic story of Steven Avery - a man who was convicted and served 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting and attempted murder of Penny Beerntsen. After 18 years in prison, Avery was exonerated when the DNA in the case was matched to another man. Soon after his freedom, he was accused of the murder of Teresa Halbach, who was last seen on the Avery property. Avery's nephew, Brendan Dassey was also accused and convicted as an accomplice in the murder. I am half way through watching this Netflix series and I am really enjoying it, the fact it is a true ongoing story and there is a lot of evidence behind the case is really interesting and gripping.

72 Most Dangerous Animals in Australia | This is a TV series that goes through 72 of the most dangerous animals living in Australia, including some witnesses footage talking about their previous attacks. I am a bit of a geek on learning about animal lifestyle's and how they are a threat to mankind. I am really enjoying watching this TV series as there are some animals on the list I would of never imagined being dangerous!

The Vampire Diaries | Follows the life of Elena Gilbert, a teenage girl who falls in love with a 162 year old vampire named Stefan. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefan's mysterious older brother Damon returns with a plan to wreak havoc on the town, seeking revenge against Stefan for turning him into a vampire against his will. Elena resembles their past love Katherine, Damon also begins to fall in love with Elena. Elena undergoes many hardships and deaths throughout her high school experience. I feel like TVD is a lot more than this now that I am into season 5 and the focus isn't on Elena as much as it was. I go through fazes of loving and hating this show as there is so much confusion and frustration put into it. If you like supernatural, drama TV that has a lot of unexpected twists then you should give this a go!

Those are my current top 5 Netflix shows I am currently watching, I am also watching Narcos, The 100, Breaking Bad and The American Horror Story too but not as frequent.

I've been engrossed in the Scream TV series on Netflix recently, and a show called 'Between', which both are really gripping surprisingly! I watched them in about a day/day and a half each! White Collar is also incredible!
