5 Genius Ways to Save Time in the Morning

5 Genius Ways to Save Time in the Morning
Wouldn't it be great if you could get an extra half an hour in bed in the morning? I am always on the lookout for ways that'll save me so much time and effort in the morning rather than waking up 2 hours in advance and running around last minute like a headless chicken looking for my keys. I have been doing things recently to help save time in the mornings and decided to share them with you.

There is still hope for that extra half an hour in bed!

1.) Sort Your Outfit In Advance - It's always a good idea to have your outfit/bag ready the night before. There has been countless times I've been running around trying to find a pair of tights without a hole in or a work dress that doesn't need ironed 15 minutes before I set off. It makes things so much easier in the mornings if you know you just need to get changed and put your keys in your bag, rather than rush around looking for things last minute.

2.) Meal Prep - It is also a good idea to meal prep the night before this will save you so much time in the morning. I sometimes like to make pasta or a salad for my lunch and I must admit it saves so much time and is such a weight off my shoulder doing it the night before. It's just one last thing to worry about in the morning!

3.) Wash Hair Night Before - It's such a time saver to sort your hair out the night before work. I have done this for years and it's a good way to avoid using heat too. I like to wash my hair, plait it and leave it to dry overnight and by morning I have loose waves. This makes it quicker for me to style and saves me spending 15 minutes in the morning washing my hair, then another 15 to dry it. You could also prep your hair the night before with some curls then by morning you just need to spray a bit of hairspray and you're ready to go!

4.) Dry Shampoo Overnight - If you know you're going to have greasy hair by tomorrow morning, spray dry shampoo on your hair the night before instead and let it sink in. This works so much better and it prevents excess scalp oil overnight. You will also wake up with more volume in your hair and find you won't need to apply anymore dry shampoo!

5.) Overnight Mask - With winter here it's good to go that little bit further in taking care of your skin, without spending a long time on it. One of my personal favourites is the Origins Overnight Mask, you apply a small amount all over your face and let it do its magic overnight. By morning your face is fresh and ready to go, therefore you don't need to spend longer in the mornings using face products to help with any dryness.

  9. These tips are so so useful! :) I feel like I build up a similar list on my mind every time I am late and rushing in the morning but by nighttime I kind of forget how stressful it was in the morning! Thank you for writing all these tips down <3 I definitely agree with picking an outfit beforehand - that is what I spend the LONGEST on and nothing just seems to look right when I am rushing! xx
