5 Simple Tips To Wake Up Flawless

5 Simple Ways To Wake Up Flawless
It would be startling if we could all wake up looking as flawless and perfect as the actresses do in the movies. Seriously what are their secrets?! I make sure I have 7/8 hours sleep every evening and yet I still don't wake up looking flawless! I've been doing a bit of digging online recently as to how I can wake up feeling fresh and flawless, so I've put some to the test and decided it was worth sharing the ones that work with you all!

There is hope yet.

1.) Wash Your Face: Seems a little obvious right? Wrong. I've been washing my face all wrong before bed and didn't realise! If you rinse your face with hot water this will open your pores and prepares your skin for a cleanse. Using the tips of your index and middle finger, apply a facial wash in circular motion onto your skin. Then rinse the product off with cold water and gently dab with a towel! This actually has made a difference to my skin it feels so much more plumped and the products seem to work more!

2.) Drink Water: Again this seems obvious to me, however if you drink a glass or 2 of water just before you sleep your skin will wake up hydrated. I usually stop drinking water around 6 and have a herbal tea. I do think this one works but I also think drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up is beneficial too!

3.) Spray Dry Shampoo Before Bed: Did you know if you spray your roots with dry shampoo before bed and leave it for overnight your hair will of absorbed all the oils so you are ready to go! Does this mean more time in bed? I think so.

4.) Stop Eating at 6/7: I am quite partial to a late night takeaway every now and then or a couple of biscuits to go with my cup of tea. But if you stop eating 3 or 4 hours before you go to sleep your skin will not only benefit from this, but this will decrease the chance of weight gain!

5.) Steam Your Room: I've recently been turning on my humidifier a couple of hours before bed to restore moisture to my room. It is one of those things you don't think would make a difference to your skin but it really does. I always wake up feeling fresh and clean!

  3. I couldn't agree more with you on the water - I never used to drink any but now I drink at least one bottle before bed and another as soon as I get up, and I really feel the difference!

  4. This post is brilliant and taught me things I didn't know.

I always feel a good, settled night sleep makes my skin feel better and more alive the next day. If I have a restless night I feel I look drained and dark and it takes more work for me to look "healthy", so I try to unwind and relax before bed to ensure I get a good night sleep!
