I love this time of the year because shops start to ditch the deep colours and stock up on their pastels. I recently took a trip into New Look and Primark to have a nosy around their home-ware section and well, this happened.
Primark have some really nice colourful, festival, summer vibes in their home-ware range recently. One thing I was particularly drawn to was this Geometric Pastel Blanket for £5! Bargain! This is the softest blanket ever and it currently lives at the bottom of my bed - I may incorporate it into blog posts as a summery background too.
Fitting with the festival, chic vibe I picked up this Wooden Stag Head for £5 with floral detailing around its horns. Stag heads are really expensive to get a hold of and I thought this would be perfect sat on my desk to give it a modish, summery feel. Of course I cannot go into Primark and not leave without at least one candle. This time I picked up one of their £3.50 candle tins in the scent White Tea & Peony - which smells so fresh and clean.
Another shop that has really blown me away recently and that's New Look. Whenever I wonder past I always pry over the home-ware, but think the price isn't worth it. However, New Look always has an amazing sale so I managed to pick up this Pastel Pink Shell Cushion for £3! I thought this would add a touch of summer to my bed - which it most certainly has. I also picked up this Neon Pink Beach House Shaped Candle for around £1-£3, which just holds up some of my books on my shelf. I thought this was great for decoration purposes.
I have recently been tweeking at my decoration wall by having some Polaroid-style photographs printed from Cheerz*. These are so old-school and cool to have on your wall, there is something about having photographs scattered around your house that really makes a house feel more at home.
Have you been adding a summer-vibe to your bedroom??
