How To Feel Good This Summer

How To Feel Good This Summer
So you've got your one week holiday to Spain booked and panic mode has started to set in for wanting to look/feel hale and hearty as ever in your bikinis for those holiday snaps. As soon as spring sets in and summer is around the corner everyone starts to fixate over their bodies and that can put a downer on our sunny mood. For today's post I am going to be sharing some of my own ways that have helped me feel good and that encourage me to get the best workout session ever.

#1 Buy New Gear - The best way to start jumping onto the spiral of feeling good this summer is to go and buy yourself some new workout gear. I every once and awhile like to treat myself to something new, whether that's a trendy triangle sports bra or some luminous Nike trainers. You will obviously want to show off those new clothes by working out. Even if you don't want to hit the gym pop on some workout clothes at home and you'll instantly want to exercise!

#2 Write Down What You Eat - MyFitnessPal becomes one of my most used apps around summertime because I like to keep track on what I am eating and whether or not it's good for me. Having a food journal or some sort of tracking method on what you're consuming everyday is really helpful. I don't use this app to calorie count, I use it to check the nutrition on some foods and the amount daily intake I consume. Believe it or not but I have ate a lot better with using this app.

#3 You Are What You Eat - I've always been good with what I eat but recently I have upped my protein intake and eating foods from Exante*. A little bit about Exante is that they are an online diet and weight-management service that offer a huge range of meal-replacement products including soups, shakes, pancakes that are enriched with vitamins, minerals and high in protein. I absolutely love having the Maple Syrup Protein Pancakes as a big breakfast to see me through the morning, they are so flavoursome and filling, I never feel guilty eating them. I also like to mix some Nakd Raisins with a handful of nuts and pop them into a little lunchbox to eat if I feel peckish on the go.

#4 Set Yourself a Goal - I always find writing lists very de-stressful so it is worth writing down or even having an image on your wall of what you want to achieve. Keeping things bottled up can sometimes be tedious and un-motivating. This doesn't have to be anything drastic, it could be writing down how many days you wish to workout and what body parts you want to exercise per day.

#5 Pamper/Treat Yourself - Not all aspects of feeling good is to do with exercise and nutrition it's also about feeling good with general well-being too. I have recently been trying out the Cellublue Anti-Cellulite Cup* for the past couple of months and wanted to raise the awareness about it in this post. Cellublue is proven to help reduce the appearance of cellulite, it also helps tone and smooth your skin. I have always had a bit of a bottom so that is the area I seem to get a little bit of cellulite, so this was perfect to try. So far I have noticed a change in my bottom I am not sure if this is to do with the cup, diet, exercise or even all the above but, I would highly recommend checking this out.

What tips do you have for feeling good this summer??
